Originally established as a the local inn for weary travellers and workers visiting the area, this charming country pub has evolved into a beloved local hotspot, serving up mouthwatering cuisine and an extensive selection of beverages.
Our History
An ancient oak tree, known as the Caton Oak, stood next the Ship Inn, on which the monks of Cockersand Abbey are supposed to have hung fish for sale. The tree unfortunately fell on 20 June 2016.
